Here is a Flash vs Silverlight comparison on the Digital Clock Demonstration.
The effect is an all-vector, scalable sliding clock based on the user’s system clock.
It can also be customized to count down to your next event with this easy-to-use Digital Clock system.
How do you think about the effect of this Digital Clock?
Please enjoy it and leave comments!!
Comparison
Flash implementation: 60 minutes
Silverlight implementation: 2 hours (Implemented First)
Source codes
DigitialClock [Flash 9, AS3] (25.2 KiB, 2,957 hits)
DigitalClock [Silverlight 3, C#] (21.2 KiB, 4,038 hits)

The only big difference that I can see is that there is a flicker in the flash example when the seconds are changing. Also also think that the Silverlight text looks crisper.

Very cool flash clock, though both look almost the same, i prefer flash technology still, i am a sort of a flash tech geek, i love it, thanks for showing off your work, the seconds hand effect is very cool.

I must say that silverlight is a technology to take a look, when i first visited this page i did not wanted to admit that Microsoft made something better then flash technology, but it seems that t will give a fight, i do not know how the programming goes, if it is easy as actionscript or not but, i will try it out.
By the way, silverlight flash clock looks a lot better, very sharp and smooth indeed, better then flash, or did you made it look better then flash on purpose?

This is very cool. I am making a Silverlight project for College. I though a little clock might be nice to have and was just about to start making one from scratch when I cam across this. Integrated perfectly into my app. Especially good when i have to have the thing in by tomorrow. Thank you very very much :)

In Flash example I don’t understand why when figure is changing, we see a short blink. In my opinion it’s a bad example of digital clock. Using Flash it’s possible to create more better animation.

The silverlight has a much better look, and I’ve said that in my last message, and since then, I have been trying to create flash clocks with silverlight technology, precisely with Microsoft Blend, but I am still green on it, can you help me out? Also, should I be working with that program or with another to create flash clocks in silverlight?
