We believe Silverlight, which is used in more websites everyday, has several beautiful free controls, components and tools that will help you develop websites faster and better.
It is not easy to find the free controls as they are hidden inside the blogs of Silverlight developers or .NET products websites and there are still not so many resources where you can read about Silverlight.
Silverlike.net have collected more than 100 free Silverlight controls, components & tools for you. You can see the Demo directly and download the code there. A reference website is also added in the Controls.

I have a question for you. Does this mean that one can take those controls and use them in their website. Just because the code is there,can you take them and use them for your own website without any legal hurdles.
Let me know please. And i appreciate the efforts in making this a reality.

Hi Dreamers, all samples shared in the site are all originally shared by the author. Besides, I also strongly highlighted the author link in the post. I hope to organize all the useful Silverlight resources in one website, as well as respecting their error. Hope I can take a balance of it.

Hello, I came across this blog article while searching for help with JavaScript. I have recently switched browsers from Opera to IE. Now I seem to have a issue with loading JavaScript. Every time I browse website that needs Javascript, my browser doesn’t load and I get a “runtime error javascript.JSException: Unknown name”. I can’t seem to find out how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

why do we need to use silverlight? annoying… and it slooooooows down my system.slows down my computer whenever i try to watch a video with it.

After reading some of your posts im really thinking about giving silverlight a try. Im a total flashhead but there are several things that seems to be handled better by silverlight.
Do you know any good books for people switching from flash to silverlight?
